a few days ago I swatted a fly and it fell down the heating register vent in the floor. Since then my 7 month old lab is pulling out all the register covers and chewing them. I have tried duct taping them down and she chews off the duct tape. Any ideas?
Hi and welcome to the forum. If I were you I would be looking to provide a substitute target for the chewing, like a Nylabone. Every time that she looks as if she is going to start chewing a vent excitedly offer a Nylabone instead and try to make it seem like the best thing to chew ever. Lots of praise when she chews the substitute instead.
I use bitter apple spray on my skirting boards as all my pups have fancied a chew at them. It work but needs re-applying every couple of days.
