One from last year - Scooby's 1st (and only) Christmas with us 2 years ago. How we miss the big galoot
Yes @DebzC - he was a rescue of unknown age (originally told around 10). He became weak & unable to stand, then he'd recover. Wasn't managing walks. Bloods showed him to be very anaemic, he could barely stand. He didn't respond to treatment. Vet guessed hemangiosarcoma, ultrasound didn't show anything. A gentle giant who introduced us to Labradors.
Love the pics, everyone! I'm having terrible trouble at the moment with my phone and it's hard to take pics but I'm enjoying all of yours!
These are all so lovely ,looking through them again making me miss my boy.I'm in the UK at the moment ...my surrogate lab is an big red Irish Setter! I'll get a pic of him later...x
@Teller's mom I love his little dicky bow! @edzbird That's very sad but well done you for giving him a loving home in his final days. You probably made all the difference to him.
Our tree is still outside - we are going to put it up at the weekend. Here is one of Tatze last year to be going on with
We don't "do" Christmas trees, so don't have any Christmassy pics. I was hoping to get some this year in the UK but my sister has decided that Christmas tree + Labrador puppy was a recipe for disaster, so she's not putting one up. Bah!
I agree with your sister! Our tree is going in the lounge this year where the pup won't be allowed 'free' ...
Charlie, you DO look handsome......plus I am trying to make excuses for myself because I did buy from Amazon (but not got yet) antlers for Cooper!!! Ouch! He will probably NOT like wearing antlers either!!!
I think I might have to get some antlers, hats etc. Simply as a tool for teaching the chin rest/bucket game with something ever so slightly unpleasant, you understand, as a step towards using it with vet visits and the like. Nothing to do with how utterly adorably they look.
