Hiya, I'm doing clicker training with my pup, I know to C & T positive behaviour but if we're learning one thing (like give paw) and he lies down on his mat (settles), am I ok to C & T this settle too or am I better off clicking and treating the settle or other good behaviour at other times (not in training lessons) and keep the lessons to one thing? Thank you
If you want to shape a specific behaviour like give paw then only c&t steps in the right direction and ignore any other offered behaviour.
