    How do you start this my lab is 14 weeks and is the first and the way things are going my last unless
    I can teach her some manners

    There are loads of great clicker training articles on the main site. This one will start you off, and it contains lots of links to follow for more information.

    The first step is charging the clicker, so that your dog gets the association between the clicker and a yummy treat. The articles describe how. Make sure you get in your head first the distinction between a cue (your word or signal to your dog of what you want him to do) and an event marker (the thing that tells him what he's done is right - the click). Many people seem to struggle with this and get lost, thinking the dog should be doing something when he hears the click.
