How do you start this my lab is 14 weeks and is the first and the way things are going my last unless I can teach her some manners

The articles describe how. Make sure you get in your head first the distinction between a cue (your word or signal to your dog of what you want him to do) and an event marker (the thing that tells him what he's done is right - the click). Many people seem to struggle with this and get lost, thinking the dog should be doing something when he hears the click.
