Been thinking of you Kate, hope he was well enough for the op as I guess they can get the best idea of what is actually going on if they can examine him thoroughly inside... He's such a robust boy,I am sure that and the wonderfully healthy lifestyle he has had with you is giving him strength to hold on through this....waiting for news and hoping that it's good xxxx
I've been following this on facebook Kate. Poor Casper - sending all positive healing vibes I can muster. And big supportive hugs to you, too. xxx
Hang in there Kate. It so tough to walk with our loved pets through these difficult times, especially when we can't tell them what is going on. Take care of yourself too, it's all so draining. We are all here for you and we know whatever happens you are the doing the very best for Casper that you can do, as you always have.
Hope you're hanging in there, Kate. Everything still crossed here. So, so, so hope the operation gave you good news.
Hi @Beanwood Kate, I haven't been on the forum for some weeks and the first thing I have read is what an awful time are all having I am so sorry to read that Casper is so poorly he is such a brave boy. You, the most gorgeous Casper, the boys and Bramble are in my thoughts. You will do what's best for your precious boy just as you always have. Charlie says to tell Casper "us rescues are made of tough stuff so please, please keep fighting". I am sending you lots of our very best wishes and hugs. Special hugs from Hattie & Charlie. xxxxx
Thinking about you all lots and really hope you get some good news. Big hugs. You know where I am if you need me xxxx
We have just had some great news....I think all those wonderful cyber good wishes have worked their magic!...Casper has really rallied back. In summary, he has had the tests under a GA, they have found lots of infection so have taken some samples to make sure he is on the best antibiotics for the job. Casper has recovered really well from the procedure. He may possibly be home tomorrow, it all depends on how much he is coughing, still a fair amount of gunk. Also he is having a lot of pulmonary physio and nebulisers, plus on IV light fluids and antibiotics. The main thing is that the vet is now optimistic regarding Caspers recovery, and that makes us both feel so much bettter. The thought Casper could be home tomorrow is amazing, as we thought on Sunday morning we had lost him. Can't thank you lot enough for how supportive you have all been xx
YIPPPEEEEEE, that's the most amazing news Kate. We knew you could do it Casper, you're one in a MILLION you wonderful boy. I so hope you get to have your lovely Casper home tomorrow, we will continue to keep all fingers and paws crossed for you all. xxxxxxxxx

I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers that Casper is home with you all as soon as he's well enough to be. Fingers crossed its tomorrow. Just the best news ever today.
