Our choccie boy has had conjunctivitis for a while now, he has had 2 courses of fucithalmic one for a week and another for 10 days, when this didn't work we then tried maxi troll for 7 days, each time it cleared up but each time it came back again so he has been booked in tomorrow's or sedation and eye swabs. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
    Thanks :)

    Re: Conjunctivitis

Obviously there are many causes so worth getting it checked out.

But air freshners, smoke or some cleaning products can really irritate a dogs eyes.
I like a fresh smelling house and used to use a lot of air freshners. And when I put some fresh ones out, they made my pups eyes very weepy. When they've worn off a bit (and I avoid using them now altogether) her eyes very quickly stop being slushy and crusty.
Nowadays if I wipe down the hard floors with some floor wipes (they all smell of something or other) that can set them off again too.

    Just a thought?
