Consequence of punishment of dogs

    I guess if I witnessed the behaviour described that would be an option.
    Its here say.
    Clearly the dog's behaviour backed up the story I heard, and the previous walking on a rope too.
    I shall be very aware if I come across him again. Definitely.

    How dreadful. This chap cannot see the connection between his dog's reluctance to go with him and his own cruel actions. It sounds as though he needs to be confronted - not in a full on way. If there's a contingent of dog walkers who have witnessed his behaviour, perhaps you could club together and convey this to him? It sounds as though his views are rather old fashioned on many fronts. It's probably best to run with that and ask a male to talk to him? It's jut an idea. These situations are so difficult to handle.

    How dare he ask for someone to train his dog. He's the one that needs training!
