I will be travelling from London to Toronto Canada in June with a 12-week male puppy. I am trying to plan ahead and figure out what size crate to purchase for the flight. Does anyone have a puppy this age? If so, what is his or her height at 12 weeks? The airline stipulates that the carrier needs to be big enough so the puppy can stand, turn around lie down comfortably. Thank you in advance!

@agw373 When my brother emigrated to NZ with his two dogs he contacted a company that custom made crates. You are really wise to plan ahead as it certainly makes everything easier. The one thing my brother did was cut an old fleece jacket of his in half and put it in the crates while the dogs travelled.
His dogs travelled incredibly well and settled really quickly into their new life.
    Good luck :)

I don't know how it compares to crate sizes approved by airlines for animals but at age 12 weeks old Juno was still comfortably using the 24" Ellie-Bo crate

If you take the basic measurements it may help you to select an appropriate crate for your puppy, but all puppies are different and different sizes.
Good tip from Claire regarding the old fleece jacket to put in the crate. I use similar when my cats go to the cattery.
