Re: Crufts
OH said it looked like a topiary baboon....
ROFL ;D ;D ;D Such athletic dogs underneath all that fluff and in a working trim I quite like them
Re: Crufts Well didn't make it to Crufts as there is always soooo much to do and never any time Ooh don't like those funny little dogs that you can't see their legs. Was anyone else concerned by the almost wire like show lead the Standard Poodle was wearing? I don't like those show leads forcing up behind the dogs ears to keep their heads up Will be watching the Gundog section later

I don't like those show leads forcing up behind the dogs ears to keep their heads up
I hate those too. They were the fashion for GWPs when I was showing but I always went for the very loose draped across the shoulders look that let the dog stand 100% naturally rather than being oiked into a false pose. Pleased to say bit by bit a few others took up the same
Re: Crufts Im a day behind as I've got to watch on iplayer...enjoying the agility though and the flyball final is coming up soon.having a weep over the Friends For Life Section Velvet the black lab has just been on who help Lottie the teenage suffering from Spina Bifida....don't tell me who wins ;D
Re: Crufts Just caught up Julie, what a shame you couldnt make it, but yes family comes first , always next year
Re: Crufts How does Ricky ,the standard poodle live in 'normal life' ?i guess the answer is he doesn't have a normal dogs life does he x
Re: Crufts I missed that Angela, what was wrong with Ricky? MMM good for you not using those nasty leads, I have to say the more I watch it the more I disagree with the methods and how some of those poor, poor dogs look - miserable :'(

This is only me but I like a dog to look like a dog ,I know that's not everyone but Ricky, although very striking and unique is far too exotic for me ;D
Re: Crufts Blimey.....that's a gundog? Not sure the winner of the gundog group could do a days work......

Re: Crufts Have just seen the Fox Terrier that won the Terrier group and it is perfection!! Absolutely stunning and a real dog shape. Don't see many now but they were very popular in the UK between the wars.
