Re: Curious Clare I can pretty much see you out the window! Yes we should definitely do a Scottish forum walk soon. Inca is 5 months old now and she loves meeting other labs
Re: Curious

Rain, rain, rain here too. I really didn't think there was anywhere else that could rain as much. Scotland , the west coast in Ayrshire near Ayr.
I hope you haven't had any flooding ... We've spent quite a bit of time on the coast in North Ayshire, but live in Kent where it's very wet and muddy too!
Hah. My mum was born in Wales, but immigrated to Canada with my dad after the war. We got to visit Wales a time or two as we grew up and I have been a couple times since then. But whenever I talked about going to the UK I would always say that I would love to visit Scotland some time. My mum would always say, with a dubious tone, "Why would you want to go there? It always rains in Scotland." The last time I was in the UK was in 2007, we visited London and Cardiff, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, but we saw on the news each night that it rained (or snowed) in Scotland every day we were there. ;D
Re: Curious
And apparently i sneak into a low rainfall area in NE Fife!
Dark brown bit for London. Smug, smug. You wouldn't know that from the muddiness of Charlie returning from the Common today.
Re: Curious
There are some advantages to the South East.... image by julieandcharlie, on Flickr
That is so depressing. We're going to hadrians wall country next week, to say I'm disappointed is an understatement, forecast for next week, rain. The weather we've had today, I wouldn't put a milk bottle out in it.
Re: Curious
We really must get a Scottish forum walk organised now they are all a little bit older
I'm up for it. Somewhere dry please, preferably the sahara if you can make it.
Re: Curious We live in Liverpool but I'm originally from Surbiton in Julie's part of the country. My dog is supposed to be a proper gundog (not a 24kg lap dog) she's a Yorkshire girl from Snainton near Scarborough.
Re: Curious I'm from dark blue blob country too. Snowdonia in North Wales. Rain, rain, rain and more rain. Snowdonia is one of the wettest places in UK, but it is very beautiful and stunning when the sun does venture out. Jan
