Back home in Germany. The staples were taken out yesterday (Poppy surprisingly brave ), and while her foot is obviously still rather sensitive and she is a bit hesitant about putting full weight on it when she first gets up, once she is up and walking it seems much better. She still needs to take things easy, so I haven't been allowing her to run around with other dogs. I think, hopefully, in a few days she'll be back to normal, and in about a week we should be able to start doing some gentle training again. I do sincerely hope that this is the end of her run of bad luck for the year. She's ripped out a toenail, had a seizure, been attacked and had to be stitched up, and now cut her foot badly. Surely that's enough for one year???
Good to hear Karen, I am sure you are beginning to breathe a little easier. I certainly hope that is all the bad for you both.
Good news her foot is healing nicely, that must be such a relief! Hope you have an end to her run of bad luck though!
