I gave one of these to Darcey this afternoon and she has just been sick, do you think it could be these? i did wonder about giving her them as they are for dogs over 10 kg (she is just under)

She is fine in herself and was trying to eat the sick

My dogs have them and have never been sick. Maybe she ate it too fast and didn't chew it properly? I believe some people don't like them! Not that they eat them I mean ;D

Gave up on them a long while ago.
Lasted about 2 seconds. Couldn't see how they benefit teeth.
No upsets tums as a pup though.

Bought some, Charlie scoffed one in a microsecond (how does that help teeth?) and then had an upset tum and runny poo. Not a big success.....

They definitely don't do anything for teeth. Not for Labs anyway - they're gone in a flash.

Don't worry about the vomit and then revisitation of the offending material :) I'm sure Darcey will be fine.

I don't like them - not great for tummies and not good for teeth.

I gave them my Cavaliers in the mistaken belief they'd keep their teeth healthy - they didn't.

I often give Max those green minty smelling dentastixs purely for the fact that they make his breath smell nice for hours! Granted they dont last long but nothing does with him anyway

Just a note - you are only meant to give one per day. Not sure if this is due to anything they have in them, or just because that's the recommended allowance, but that could be why she was sick?

I give Penny one almost every day. I don't know if they help keep her teeth good, but she gets one as a treat when I leave to go to work and eagerly awaits it each morning lol!

They're very high in calories I think so maybe thats why its one a day. Lots of clients use them and pretty sure their dogs put on weight as a result.

They are gone in no time. I don't see what they can hope to achieve.

I want more munching for the dog and more peace and quiet for me for my money

Exactly. Dentastix are best viewed as a tasty treat, not a dental chew.

We stopped using these a long time ago, they lasted about 3 seconds so barely touched their teeth and they are very expensive  x

As already has been said Dentastix a great, just not for a geneticly engineered eating machine.

Try a carrot instead. Cheap & once the pup gets used to them break them in half & freeze, will help with teething as well.
