Did the eclipse affect your puppy?

I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but my 5 month old puppy was completely off the wall crazy today. We are not in the path of totality (about 62% here) but he was bouncing off the walls from the minute I got up this morning. No amount of running, playing, etc seemed to settle him down. Several friends have told me it's because of the eclipse, but I don't get it -- it wasn't a total eclipse and, well, I don't get why that would make a dog nuts like he's been.

Right now he's safely in his crate so he doesn't continue flying around the house at top speed. The eclipse is done and I'll be taking him out shortly. I'm hoping the craziness is over too.

We're about 70% here and Quinn is having a normal Monday...sleepier than usual because she went to bed late last night!

We were at over 80% totality and our boy has been bonkers even tonight, nipping (which he'd mostly stopped doing), zoomies, the works! Don't know if it's related, but I'll comfort myself by thinking it was.

We had about 90% totality here. Pups slept right through it!

The dogs were home (99%) here, but we were a couple hours away in 100% territory, so we could not watch them. They did not seem at all upset when we got home, and the two dogs where we were viewing did not seem upset.
