i was told to give jasper a little tip bit of raw liver, so i tried this, jasper spat it out, rolled over it and looked at it like it was a full grown animal, any one else seen any thing like this,
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat I have a dehydrator that I bought off amazon and I use it for nothing else but to dry liver for the dogs. The pieces are easy to carry in my pocket, not dried to a crisp but slightly gooey in the middle. As far as the dogs are concerned it is the best treat in the world and even my Alice who is not food motivated at all goes absolutely mad for it. None of them are very keen on raw liver though.
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat do you think if i slightly cooked it. as i am told its the best thing for treats
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat I know people who bake it in the oven to get a similar texture to dehydrated liver. I just can't stand the smell of liver cooking. The dehydrator is set up in an outhouse because it does give off a strange smell.
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat oh i dont mind the smell so will try that later, see how it goes, thank you for the tip
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat Not raw, only dried. We have a dehydrator but found drying liver in it all a bit full-on, LOL. So we buy it pre-dried. Very high in iron!
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat thank you for replys, i baked some in the oven, jasper loved it, only for treats, where do you buy it ready pre dried please,
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat I get mine at pet shops (I am in Australia). I'd say that UK pet shops would stock it too It'd be cheaper to dry your own if you don't mind the aroma
Re: does any of you feed your dogs raw liver as a treat thank you for taking the time to reply, i will head down to the pet shop in the morning
