I was talking about this with fellow co workers and they were abit weirded out but having Tilly sleep next to me is very therapeutic she's like a big brown bear ! Even if I have to change the sheets a lot
There is no room for my two, the OH takes up most of the bed and the covers too. Sometimes I have to get out of bed and go around to the other side and get back in again. I would end up on the floor, if they were there too. Anyway Fred is a snorer
Not at home (unless we fall asleep on the sofa, which is a very regular occurrence!). But when we're away, then generally yes. It's a nightmare - Shadow is all elbows and takes up all the bed, getting between DH and I and pushing us both out the sides. Willow is better and sleeps at the end, between my feet. But my vote is for "no" because of all the elbows
My OH occasionally is away for a few nights and I don't like the empty house so I was in the habit of letting Lady sleep on her bed at the foot of our bed. All fine until one night I was awoken by a scuffle and put on the light to find Lady standing with a ball in her mouth all waggy tail and ready for a game! Put her back to bed but the exercise was repeated a couple of times ending up with a chase down stairs as part of the "game". That was the end of that!
<sigh> we had a "no dogs on the bed" rule. Coco now sleeps on the bed - at the end-ish. He is huge. We only have a double bed. Why am I so soft?
Molly lies on the bed while I read but then I send her to her own bed ( in my room) when I want to go to sleep as she stretches right out and wants the whole bed!
No.. It's one of the only puppy rules i've managed to keep! he's happy in the living room in his crate
Nope the only time a dog is upstairs is if my OH wants me to get up when he sends Obi spaniel up who jumps on my head a lot!! Both of mine have got on the bed when we've been away but I think they get too hot as they both get back down of their own volition.
He starts out on the bed but gets hot and moves off to find a cool piece of floor. One of the cats is usually on the bed too. They are both black and I found a dark bedspread. I will probably never get to use the bedspread I haven't even made yet out of a lovely floral on white background fabric that I bought in a fit of madness. The only place hair is deposited is on the OH's side, strangely. He's the only one who complains about it.
Yes, most of the time she sleeps in our bed or she sleeps in her crate with door open and option to sleep on her other bed, both in our room!
Harley has slept with us since she was 4 months old. We even went and brought a king size bed to accommodate us all! Personally I love waking up with her snuggled into me - she only tries to kick my hubby out If she gets too hot she other goes in the bath in the ensuite or on the landing or into our daughters bed if she is away at uni.
Homer was meant to sleep in the kitchen but he decided that he didn't like being shut in there do well ... He came up to sleep with us. But then there was no room and the little one said roll over, so all rolled over and I fell out. So now he has a new bed next to our bed upstairs. Sometimes he creeps up on to ours but then he'll jump off when told.
Yep. Charlie sleeps on the bed. Or in his own bed next to our bed - as he pleases. Things did get a little squished, so we bought a bigger bed.
Ella sometimes sleeps on our bed (she'd sleep there every night if we gave her the choice) but she'll also sleep in her bed either in our room or the laundry. I find that she wakes me up too much when she sleeps on the bed with us so I don't like her there every night.
