I wonder has anyoned used one of these dummies, it has a zip closure underneath a flap and you can put wet smelly treats or dry ones in it and use it like a retrieving dummy. Wondered if it would help stoke up Charlie's retrieving :-\ Thanks x

How you describe it Helen,I was given as similar one by my SIL......I've only used it a couple of times in the house playing 'Find It'......it worked for a sniffing game but when Dexter found it he was trying to get into the treats straight away.So yes,it's great to encourage them to go and find it but on our case I would need to do some work to get him to return it x

I thought about getting one of these Helen, but decided when out and about Lilly wasn't food orientated enough.
My thought was the rabbit skin ball might be better (but lazyitis here.....not got out the garden with it).
My alternative option was investing in a bottle of pheasant scent for our newish dummy which she hasn't been exposed to much yet. That is on my wish list but not in my shopping basket :D
