There is often confusion over what methods to use when training a dog. Is training with food effective? Do you need to dominate your dog or be a pack leader. What methods work? And what methods don't?

Here are some resources to help you find your way through the maze :)

    Hi Pippa

We have recently adopted a 7 month old rescue puppy and have started recall training with him using your book. Normally I do most of the training e.g sit, wait, down etc but has my partner takes him to work during the day he has been doing the start of the recall himself. we are only on day 2 but what i wanted to know is whether he should do each step himself, or whether I can do it with the pup as well.

    thanks
    Katy
