The cheapest thing I use is chicken frankfurters (easier on the tum than normal ones, I think). I chop 50+ training treats out of each one, and they are £2 for 10.

Yeah I agree these are what I use, agree with Brunos stomach, and very cheap, just hoping to see if anyone had any options that didn't take any preparation and came in an easy carry bag for walks! haha

    Tiny cubes of cheese. Yum.
    Or fishy training stars.

Today, I used raw fillet steak.

    Pampered pooches, or what?

Luckily, it was free - offcuts from a local restaurant.

Tesco value mild cheddar. It has the perfect consistency to cut into tiny cubes.

Kibble, or mild cheese (I have a very greedy dog ;) )

    kibble
    hot dogs
    cheese
    poached chicken
    toast cubes
    baked potato cubes
    dried cranberries
    oyster crackers
    cheerio's cereal
    Zukes training treats

And any and all combinations of these - I tend to make multiple baggies of treats at a time, some go into the freezer, some into the fridge...which keeps the meat/cheese parts of it fresh....time to make some more goodie bags this weekend! ::) ::)

Yep, also any left over cooked meat, sausages, I used to use toast too but we don't have bread in the house any more, I also use kibble as my dogs are raw fed and kibble is quite a novelty for them.

Charlie will do anything for cheese - I've often thought of recording the opening of a pack of Jarlsberg (we buy it in resealable boxes which make a distinctive noise when opened) to use as an emergency recall....but it gives him awful runny poo... :(
