So we were out at the park with Chewie and we were just wandering around, sniffing stuff and playing recall games. I was jogging around and didn't see a hole... fell over and now have a large swelling over my ankle. I dont think it's broken, and I really dont want to have to go in to the hospital for an xray so we are RICEing it at home. Luckily Chewie was off lead so I didn't land on him! He was quite worried about me and had the decency to not nip me while I was on the ground. All a bit embarrassing really...
Ouch! Hope you're ok. Take it easy, and do go for a check up if it's not improving. Owning a dog is a dangerous hobby!
Oh my goodness you poor thing, bet Chewie was surprised to find you on the floor with him! Get plenty of rest and hope swelling goes down soon.
I ended up getting an xray- no obvious fracture, but I missed Chewie's star performance at school where he apparently excelled in the "park" class. He even did some easy weaves with his dad. The trainer gave him cheese too. What a good day
