Re: dogs left in cars I like your thinking Helen! For short journeys my spaniel will fit in this one too I think, I've seen a few dogs in crates and they seem to like to smoosh up together. If needs be I will get a bigger crate though Edited to add: there seems to be a decent second hand market for the crates as they're built to last.
