No book list on a dog forum would be complete without Karen Pryor’s classic “Don’t Shoot theDog” Nearly thirty years old now, it is still as relevant today as it was when it was published. I think it was the first book I read which explained the principles of behavioural science in a fun way for the person on the street. Pippa
Re: Don't shoot the dog it's definitely worth a read - I loved the idea of the "clicker game" playing with friends - but haven't actually tried it yet...
