Re: Don't Tell Dexter! Derry is feeling very admired.,thankyou everyone ......we've all ( parents and pooch)hung out together all day today to leave the house empty for the decorators ,I'm so much more observant and appreciative of where dogs are allowed In the UK ...... We've enjoyed coffee, and lunch in dog friendly places .we were even in a dress shop and when I told the lady that Dad and dog were waiting in the car....she said ' go and bring them in!' .......it was a wedding shop!!! those that know setters know those beautiful white dresses would not have gained anything from the embellishment of a setters spectacular slobber! Sufficed to say we didn't bring him in! I must admit to feeling a bit vulnerable without my whistle on walks ( even though he's not whistle trained....he responds pretty well to mums amazing DIY finger whistle ;D )it's just an automatic part of the kit to me in Dubai.Derry has stayed close and has done for ever such a long time but his past absconds hAve scarred me ( mum ringing me from Liverpool in dubai in tears because he's run off .....dad out all afternoon on a search, shudder, shudder, shudder!) Merla........what you been up to,little monkey!bet those few lost 'minutes' felt a very long time to your OH ;D
