Re: drinking no stacia she was incontinent when i got her she was 5months old and after several attempts to clear up urine infections she had scans and xrays which showed 1 kidney was diseased and the ureta cant spell was not going into the bladder properly
Re: drinking I hope milly is improving. Urine infections are a nuisance. My 2 had one that lasted 6 weeks because a sterile sample wasn't taken but once they were on the right antibiotics it cleared up quickly. Good luck fingers crossed she's better very soon.
Re: drinking I am sorry to read that. However, we can live with only one functioning kidney so I am sure dogs can as well, just have to be extra vigilant in case of UTI. Fingers crossed that she will respond well to the antibiotics and be well very soon.

Re: drinking Good luck, hope the UTI clears up quickly and she is back to normal. What a worry though for you considering her history.
Re: drinking Thinking about you and Milly, we will keep everything crossed that she gets better very quickly. Lots of hugs from us xxxx
Re: drinking thank you all for your messages milly has only had 3 tablets and does seem to have improved and not drinking as much i just hope that it is a one off she has 7 days of tablets she eats them easily so that is good
Re: drinking hi everyone my computer was not working for a few days so glad to say milly is much better and is back to normal drinking just hope that this is a one off with her previous problems thank so much for your kind wishes
Re: drinking I was thinking about Milly yesterday as our postman went by; he gave one of his kidneys to his sister so now only has one and manages well. I thought you might find that comforting news that people and dogs can exist and live a normal life with one kidney. Very pleased to read that Milly seems better.
