Re: Dropped Millie off ............ You won't recognise her tomorrow, she will be as bright as a button. You must be so relieved that she is now home and it all behind you.
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ So glad to hear this Kate Bet you are so relived. Hope she is doing ok this evening the poor wee soul.
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ Hope she had a good night Kate and you aren't bent in two from a night on the couch?x
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ This sleeping on the sof lark is no joke : Little tail wag this morning from Miss Millie , she went out for a wee at about 9 p.m. and hasnt moved since then , only to lift her head up and wag her tail . The plaster has come off in the night , but she doesnt seem to be bothering with the wound , might pop her down to the Vet this morning to have another plaster put on, or maybe not bother ? Her eyes look much brighter this morning , bless her
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ Ah She sounds like she's coming round in her own time, she'll be on the up today, just feeling really pulled about I bet I'm the wrong person to respond the the vet visit question mark?ive only got experience of the one castration op....and that will be a totally different wound to Millie's .my vet is all for air getting to the wounds of castration and tail....I'm so useless though I don't even know if that's normal practice for a castration wound ?you will judge it right, you get really lucky with dogs that don't bother their stitches, keep it up Millie.hope a nice cuppa unbend the kinks in you Kate and you don't suffer too much stiffness later x
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ Decided not to bother re another plaster , prefer to let the air get to the wound really . She was asking for a walk at 8.30 so I went to Golitha Falls but kept Millie on lead and on the firm paths, she didnt seem to mind that Sam was charging about , just trotted alongside me for five/ten mins , then home for toast and honey ( dogs, not me ) Lovely to see her eyes a lot brighter and the tail wagging , one more five mins on lead walk will suffice for today
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ i am so pleased millie is up and about, brave little girl,....try and get some rest kate
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ She is back with a vengeance : : Not stopped begging for food today , I know she was starved yesterday but you would think she hadnt eaten in a week : Wanting to go out for walks , my goodness, its only 24 hours and she is lively as a cricket , we havent had one cry out of her so no extra pain relief needed here , I love how it trips off the tongue " Keep her quiet for a few days " , Julie you have my sincere and genuine sympathy :
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ I said she would be like that ;D ;D Good news and you must be so relieved. I used to go walking with a vet and she let her dog off lead after being spayed about 3 days later! I think I managed to keep mine on for about five days!
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ Funny you should say that Stacia , the bumph from the Vet said 14 days on lead , what ??? But the Vet told me " about five days until off lead " So , bit of poetic licence then
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ So pleased she has bounced back, good girl lovely Mille!
I love how it trips off the tongue " Keep her quiet for a few days " , Julie you have my sincere and genuine sympathy :
Yup. 110 days to go. I'm counting.
Re: Dropped Millie off ............ So pleased Millie is well in herself, what a relief for you and your family
