No no, definitely won't be eaten :) All my ducks have names but I don't name ones that I am not going to keep (as it makes it harder to see them go). I wait till I know which I will keep before naming any* :)

I think you just abused your moderator powers, Julie. ;)

That negates your private duckling photo viewing privilege.

    Haha, exactly ;D

Today they are having their first outdoor adventure. It's a bit scary at first!

You can't keep a duckling out of water for long though! They're soon exploring.

:) I love them all huddled up in the corner....looking at mum, perhaps? Or Obi? (methinks we need a glimpse of how well he is coping with the #cuteopolypse).

Looks like big non-yellow is bolder than the rest?

Ah, lovely to see them getting out and about.

How is the little one doing, he does still look small? I'll try not to start worrying if he's getting enough peas, I know he will be.

Although they don't look to be eating peas yet, what's that in the food bowl?

I'm guessing that's a stone. To stop them tipping the bowl over.
    Too cute.

This morning I had finished my breakfast or I might have needed to change my top...the burrito picture had me in stitches...... ;D

Yes, it's a stone - so they can step out easily :) The bowl is pretty stable (it's a dog bowl).

They actually had their first peas tonight while swimming in the bath tub. And so begins a lifelong pea addiction...

The yellow one is probably the first to try things (like diving in the bath) but they are all pretty adventurous. The small blue one is still smaller but is definitely not backwards in coming forwards!

Bathtime! The green stuff in the water is chopped chickweed and lucerne.

    Got any peas?

    Awww....all cuddled up after swimming.

I'm glad to hear about the peas. Something very right about little ducklings getting pea treats. And having pink teddy bears. :) :) :)

And I just thought your bath was grubby ;) ;) ;)

They are very, very cute. Lizzie is enjoying duckling pictures immensely. I'm obviously only looking to show her ::)
