Hi! My pup is almost 7 months old, and over the last few days the yeast smell in her ears has got a lot stronger. We've been keeping an eye on them and there isn't much gunk or anything in there - should we do anything? She doesn't seem bothered by them, but they're definitely a bit whiffy...
Hi and welcome ! Vets , definitely , especially if they smell yeasty , its most likely an infection and will need drops in them to clean and then clear it up . Lab ears often have a smell about them, but the yeasty smell usually means treatment .
Agree totally with @kateincornwall, yeasty ears don't get better on their own, ears can get problematic if not treated early.
