Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? I never thought that I would ever be so keen to see a nice firm turd! Something happens to your brain when you get a labrador.
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Hope Pongo is feeling better and will soon be as playful as normal. Make the most of the quiet period
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? I've read in several places that cooked pumpkin is good for runny tummies. Not sure if it has the same effect for stopping vomiting. But I guess it is packed with calories so might be good for energy? Am curious to know why you cook the egg? Why not give it raw? Am hoping Pongo is well on the mend. And, yes, totally relate to wanting to see a nice firm poo!
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Glad Pongo is keeping his food down...and hopefully "manufacturing" a lovely firm poo for you.... ;D ;D ;D You know we're waiting anxiously for the poo report : : : :
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Shadow had gooeypooey today - maybe something to do with the Oreo cookie he stole off a snowman yesterday. It was an eye, apparently. Sigh. So, scrambled eggs for dinner and we'll see what happens in the morning. Hope Pongo is back to 100% now x
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Pongo says thanks for the well-wishes.... we are just about to go out for his bedtime circuit of the garden, so I've high hopes of something 'happening' out there.... will provide update in the morning.... (how did this turd-obsession become my life?) Rxxx
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Monty would send a gentle lick if he knew how but his preferred greeting to Pongo would be 'let me jump all over you and nibble your ears' This morning I got an odd look from a woman as I was (albeit closely) examining Monty's 2nd morning poo in the park as it contained a red, white and green stripey piece of string, (possibly from a butcher's bone he had 3 days ago?) and a chunk of something white and un-identifiable. I wasn't concerned by the staring woman, only the wonder of what else might be resting in Monty's stomach.....

It was an eye, apparently. Sigh. So, scrambled eggs for dinner and we'll see what happens in the morning. Hope Pongo is back to 100% now x [/quote] Thanks Shadow....no I'm craving Oreos!!! : : : : Oh...sorry about your joining the poorly tum club with Pongo....
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? He had two accidents overnight. I don't know if I'm more relieved or embarrassed that I didn't have to clean it up because he's staying with a friend! Oatmeal and eggs this morning... and buying some chicken on the way home later!
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? I am delighted to report that Pongo has now delivered a perfectly-formed, kickable turd. Really world-class quality. I mean, if Crufts had a class for poo, this one would be a champion contender. Pongo is looking immensely pleased with himself. I'm so proud of my brave little soldier..... <sniff> (I think I have now officially lost touch with all sane thought and am expecting the men in white coats to arrive at any minute)
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Well done Pongo 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Kickable is so very impressive!!!! Your mom has every right to be singing your praises!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Re: Eggs for a sick labrador? Well done Pongo! I'm not sure that kickability is a good test for turds ....
