    Hi Everyone,

Several months ago I posted about our Labrador who sustained a fracture of the elbow at just over six months of age. He was jumping up to retrieve a dummy. People on this site were really helpful in giving support and making suggestions.

I wanted to reassure anyone who has a dog this happens to that such fractures can heal - given five weeks crate rest. Dee-Jay is now just a year old and he is absolutely fine. He will jump anything, swim anywhere and is a streak of lightning when retrieving.

This site was an invaluable source of ideas for games when on crate rest. So - many thanks to everyone.

Glad to hear Dee-Jay is doing so well. Be careful with the jumping in future! xx :)

That's great! Well done for persevering with the crate rest and making sure he recovered well from a traumatic injury.
