So sorry he is crying - always heartbreaking. Have you considered a holistic vet? Sometimes when conventional medicine can’t help, there might be help in holistic modalities. My regular vet recommended the holistic vet for our boy for his slipped disc. The holistic vet used laser therapy, which seemed to help a lot. Obviously not the same as your boy’s illness, but they might be able to offer something similarly positive.
