    Hi Everyone,

We have a 14month old Chocolate Lab and a few months ago we noticed he had sore eyes, showing his 3rd eyelid halfway across his eye at times. I thought it maybe hayfever or allergies we took him to the vets and they thought it may be conjunctivitis, so gave him eye drops but no change. We then noticed his left nostril was dry and blocked as though his had a cold so took him back again to the vets. They carried out a tear duct flush and xrays, still no diagnosis but said very unusual in young labs but could be dry eye or Horners syndrome. The specialist advised try dry eye drops first for 2 weeks to see if he improves. We are just over a week in, theres very little improvement, still sore eyes and dry left nostril. Horners Syndrome symptoms doesn't mention dry blocked nostrils just sore eyes etc.

He is still full of energy and the typical labrador.

Anyone else had the above symptoms and dry nostril and if so what was the diagnosis.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Anyone else had the above symptoms? The eye drops haven't worked. Eyes still sore and left nostril still blocked.
