fatty lump on back

    just found a lump on tillys back and i think its a fatty lump cos molly had one exactly the same but molly was 8 tilly is only 4 is it normal it feels exactly like a fatty lump i am going to vets next week to double check has anyone elses dogs got these?

    Yep Doug had more lumps than normal body at the end of his life. Do get them checked by your vet. Most are harmless but its best to get them looked at. Moo has a few now. Shes had a couple removed that were getting way of her legs. They feel very round soft and distinct in the skin. They seem to be a feature of older labs

    yeah they feel like that but shes only 4, do they occur because of fat cells dying or something because tillys been dieting lol

    A lots of labs have them for different reasons. Doug had them due to his lupus. Moo has them due to age. ;)

    I'm super paranoid about lumps n bumps since Molly, I examine Tilly twice a week at least just been poking it doesn't affect her but will double check on Monday she's due anyway for a check up since her anal glands op

    I hope everything will be ok. Some dogs seem to develop them as they grow. We had a dog in the past that started to get them. The very would just monitor them for growth and continued to check the blood and for any other symptoms of something more serious.

    It's ok it turned out to be a bite that has gradually gone down thank god
