    Hi everyone,

Our Lab pup is coming up to six months old and we're thinking of reducing his meal times from three times daily to twice a day (he's kibble fed). Currently he eats (approx.) 07:00, 12:30 and 18:30.

What meal times would be recommended for twice daily?

    Many thanks in advance
    Tony

I think it is a bit of trial and error, and what works for your routine. I feed Meg at 7am and 5pm..she knows when its time !

It may depend on your routines? I feed my girl when I leave for work- good things happen when I leave- plus she never has it in a bowl always in 3/4 food dispensing toys. I also keep some back for our walk for low level rewards. She has her tea the same time as we do.

I just switched to twice a day and because we wake up around 5am that is breakfast time. dinner is at 4pm. She still gets about 1/4 cup for training and a kong with kibble that has been frozen with a bit of dog food once a day too.
