I've been singing it as well & it's driving me nuts With only 4 yes 4 days to go I will see Charlie today for the last time until collection day...did i say it's in 4 days??? ;D I have to confess though i am not just going to see Charlie but to see the breeders little girl who has looked after 8 puppies through her summer holidays...she's loved them, hugged them, kissed & cuddled them & she's only 7!! Today is her last day as she will be off on her summer holiday with her Mum! So i thought she deserves a big treat for doing such a great job....the bestest puppy sitter in the whole wide world. So off to the toy shop & sweet shop for me later Lisa the days can't go quickly enough but you're right it'll soon be here Enjoy your day everyone...i will as I have just finished for the day
Re: Final Countdown Ah that's a really kind thing to do Dave,that little girl is going to be glum when her puppies leave...are the breeders letting her keep one? I'm with you on the Final Countdown.......I'm one chorus away from getting my air guitar out! ;D
Re: Final Countdown Wishing you hadnt mentioned it, its in my head now ;D ;D Sam was a good puppy on the whole, quite serious and calm but he did have his moments, the running in from the garden, doing a flypast the coffee table, snatching anything we had been daft enough to leave on it, then into the jungle at the bottom of the garden to hide his treasure ;D Then there was the sheepskin rug incident, a hearty dislike to it led to said rug being demolished , all good fun ;D

We went to "last night at the proms" on the town quay tonight (my boy was a star, everyone there had a pint - including me - so he said hello to them all, and they were happy to rub his ears and tummy). We walked home singing (very badly) - hic hic: And shall Trelawny live? And shall Trelawny die? Here's twenty thousand Cornish men Will know the reason why! That got rid of loco-motion!
Re: Final Countdown 3.00am in the morning & you lot have set me off again...air guitar in the garden....glad the neighbours are all asleep ??? Well there is good news & bad I'm afraid..first the bad The breeders daughter looked ever so sad this afternoon :'( All the owners had been over including me so i think it all started sinking in for her....big softy here was really gutted for her but on the plus side 6 puppies are staying in their village. She will also see plenty of Charlie as the breeder is a good friend & we'll get together on a regular basis...so not all bad! The good news is Its NOW 3 DAYS ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It is going quicker than i thought but it still seems along way off Well off to do some work, one run to the airport & that's me done for the day. Re: Final Countdown Woo hoo!! 3 days!!!!! I remember when I got my first puppy. There were two young kids and they and the breeder (their Mum) were both crying :'( They put so much into the pups, like your breeder, and they loved every pup to bits. But it's wonderful that in your case so many are staying in the village I'm sure that the daughter will just love seeing them all regularly. It's fab that Charlie has had all this positive experience with kids and many visitors already - it's invaluable. Only 3 days!!!! Really excited for you ;D

Re: Final Countdown Good Morning All, Well it's nearly time...1 day to go 'till Charlie day ;D All prepped & ready to go...just his insurance to sort out & that's it. Thankfully I am so busy today & tomorrow morning I won't have time to get over excited but god help my customers!! I think after an hour in my car they will ALL want to jump out on the M1!! ;D ;D Thank you all for the fun & laughs over the passed couple of weeks & sorry if i have driven you all nuts.
