I had the most beautiful walk saw linnets yellowhammers and bullfinches. not seen so many in years. I felt very nostalgic it made me think about my childhood birdwatching with my dad

Last time I saw a yellowhammer was almost 20 years ago when we lived in a farmyard miles from anywhere. As for bullfinches, I can't remember the last time I saw one of those.
We get chaffinches and a few green finches hereabouts.

It old farm land I was walking it really does seem like and oasis. It was lovely I even saw a buzzards, but I love the finches . See lots if gold finches and green finches but the bullfinches and yellowhammers are something else :)
