Puzzle had her first bath today, it went quite well, she started shaking a little to start with but soon settled down, she stood nice and still while water was being poured over her and she loved the massage i gave her while putting the shampoo and on and working it into her coat. The bit of bath time that she really loved was the drying, i sat on the floor with the towel and she was almost drying herself as she was rolling head first into my lap with the towel over me.

She is soooooooo much different at bath time to barley, he really hates having a bath, so much that he has to be hosed down outside rather than have a nice warm bath inside.

Just remembering Sam first experience , nightmare ::)
Mr. Cautious freaked out completely , escaped from the bathroom covered in soapy suds and soaking wet , straight into our bedroom ( bungalow ) leapt on the bed , me chasing him , ran out into the sitting room where he appeared to surf every piece of furniture before leggging it into the kitchen, skidding over the floor like a crazed ice skater, then into the garden where he rolled about on the wet borders, never ever again , he just dunks himself in the river now ;D

Puppy pal - you must have the magic touch! Sounds positively idyllic!

Kate - your post had me howling with laughter. What an image!

I've not bathed Rosie - I suspect an outcome similar to Sams! Hose in garden and/or babywipes for us. What a wimp!

Kate - that was a similar outcome to barley's first bath, except he was outside in a sand pit full of water and he ran away fully soaped up and jumped onto the saof and started to dry himself on the sofa, after he had rolled in the bordersx on the way inside, so the sofa was coverd in mud, water and shampoo ::)
