Oh great work Karen! Thankyou x .....I was still looking but getting so sidetracked by some of the other topics ( and by Members we don't see so much now, nice to see some of them pop up) I've encouraged a bit of a thread hijack but it is a funny thread.......I'd forgotten about Tug,Tug,Tug Tuggy too
Actually Laura....it's not that off topic from your lost......you will get a lot of ideas for names....
I sing to Dexter, lol. 'Dexter Dexter Dexter do' or 'Dexter do do do, shake mine apple................ Call him Mr D as a nickname or Dex. We got his name from a herd of cows we saw whilst on holiday in Cornwall about 5 years ago. They were Dexter's. Some of my previous pets names were, Mingles (a tortoiseshell cat who mingled in with the fury mat like camouflage), Archie, Basil, Sybil, Polly, Hamlet, Joey, Threeie (my daughters mouse when she was three and obsessed with the number), Spike, Sandybags, Flossy, Fluffy, Smokey, Benjamin and Lavender Black Foot.
I have a yellow Dexter too! Looks to be a popular choice! We met Dexter when we was 3 weeks old and I was messing about I said Dexter and he grunted at me...so that was that he chose his own name
Never heard of a dog called Dexter until we got our puppy, lol. I agree it is a great name, a couple of friends have since said their friends have dogs called Dexter. My son and daughter in law have a black lab called Bella, now we hear of lots of Bellas where we live.
