The dogs went outdoors only to do their business, same for today. Parts of my county have mandatory evacuations, fortunately not my area. I live in a tiny older home, there is a nice room I made in the attic so we could go up there if necessary.
My little 'office' room is dog friendly with two enormous round doughnut shaped dog beds, so they are playing and having a good time, although they and I miss the opportunity for them to run around outside in the yard.

Hope things improve for you soon. Are you in France or Germany?

Oh, sorry to hear about the flooding but glad you seem safe, at least for now.

Have been seeing that on the news. Hope our news got it wrong when they said another 25 cm is expected, surely they meant mm. Why couldn't some of that rain have hit Fort McMurray, Alberta and put that fire out? It's still burning but moved away from the town.

The weather seems to have gone a bit mad.
The floods and lightening strikes in Germany were alarming me in particular.
I must admit I hadn't realised about Texas.

    Hoping everyone stays safe.

We live in Germany, but up in the hills away from any rivers.. It's mostly been down in the south where it's been so extreme. So much rain, though...
