Our 2-1/2 year old lab starting having GI issues on Royal Canine Labrador food. After many tests and visits to the vet, we suspect chicken is the culprit. We keep gradually trying different food proteins but haven’t yet found the right one and a lot have chicken fat or chicken in it. Anyone experience this and found successful solutions?
Hi Roseann, My whippet has a mild chicken intolerance... it's definitely one of the harder ingredients to try and avoid! I generally look for lamb-based kibbles - Canagan do a good one, and he's currently enjoying Green Pantry's lamb kibble. I think there are quite a few fish-flavour kibbles made without chicken too, but Max doesn't like fish flavors much so I can't recommend any specific ones! Good luck
