New forum supporters may notice that there is a new "Media" tab in the menu: This allows you to create albums of your photos and videos. Click on "Add Media" and you get this page: Create a new album or choose an existing one (if you've previously made one). You will then be prompted to add your file, which can be done from your computer or from another website: Once the photo is uploaded, you can enter a title and description for each one. Then click "Save Media". Congratulations, you have now added a photo to your gallery. You can view your media at any time by using the "Your media" or "Your albums" links on the Media tab. To insert these photos into a post, click on the little camera icon in the tools bar: Your media will then show underneath your post and you can choose which photos or videos to include by clicking on them. A [gallery] tag will appear in your post. They display a little differently from directly-uploaded images, as they have an information tab on them, and display the title of the post alongside the date and time it was uploaded. Chilling by snowbunny posted Jan 27, 2016 at 11:03 AM Clicking on the image will open it full-size, along with the comments if there are any. People can leave comments on or "like" your gallery media here. To see everything that people have uploaded to their galleries, click on the Media tab and it will show everything.
I think that is because you are not a forum supporter Jade. Those extra functions are reserved for them. Here is a thread about the forum supporters' options https://thelabradorforum.com/threads/new-forum-account-upgrades.13588/
