I was having a lovely walk with Chepi when I stood backwards onto a dog! It's owners were some distance away and the poor thing had run over silently to say hello. It didn't yelp so I thought nothing much of it but made a fuss of it for a minute before carrying on with the walk.
About 10 minutes later I saw the owners carrying it back to the car and wondered why. On my drive home I suddenly thought maybe I had hurt it - eek! I will never know. Feeling concerned but I just didn't know it was behind me. Oh dear.

Sounds a bit strange. If it ran off fine back to its owners I wouldn't have thought you could have caused any harm. Particularly if it didn't yelp.
    Very odd.

Most strange, but I'm sure that if you had hurt the dog you would have known by it's squeal and that it would not have stayed around to be made a fuss of. Try not to worry, strange things do happen

I agree with the others, if the dog was hurt it wouldn't of hung around to get fussed x
