Jack & Barney have been completely de-crated for a few weeks now, with odd bits of chewing in the kitchen during the day and no issues at all in the dining room overnight (a kind of second sitting room with leather sofa and pouffe) I heard them awake at 5am today so came downstairs to find the dining room floor completely covered in everything! They had pulled a few shirts off the ironing pile, a top including coat hanger off the clothes rack, shredded a carrier bag that they found God knows where, shredded the coat hanger into a million tiny pieces, shredded my Argos card statement from on top of the sideboard! Luckily no real damage, but I wasnt impressed with clearing that up at 5am. I then slept on the sofa with a blanket and they both curled up beside me and went to sleep In the week my two sons get up at 4.45 to go to the gym before work and I think The pups' bodyclocks are set to that now, so we may go back to the crate for fri/sat nights lol x
Re: Fun in the night! My sympathies. Cupar has been out of his crate for a couple of months now. I have had to clear bottom shelf of the dresser in the kitchen. He was trying to work his way through my cookery books. I have a tablecloth on table as he was climbing on table to see out window. Blind is now permanently down. He has another two windows to look out though. My son who has been told not to leave anything lying about still does so. This morning I got to lie longer than you , I got until 7.00 as there was a plate left on the work top that Cupar pulled down, so I had to get up as I worried about cut paws if plate had broke. I have started saving all plastic bottles for Cupar to chew on. I put some yogurt on it. I even left a big box lying for him and he never touched it. How are your two doing now? They're a week younger than Cupar.
Re: Fun in the night! I would expect Chepi to do that, so she is still crated. It is difficult when others have different schedules.
