Just spent the most wonderful afternoon out with the oldies. Moo and Solomon are both 14 and they trotted off at a very respectable speed together. They were so happy we took them on a very short field walk. They are both a bit deaf Moo is partically sighted and has a heart murmur. Solo has an inoperable stomach cancer and a grade 4 heart murmur. None of this mattered to them we had our heart's in our mouths watching them though. It was great they loved it. Both are a bit stiff today but it was worth it seeing them try to relive their youth. Old dogs are so wonderful

Old dogs are indeed the best. Sounds like a wonderful time out with two best buddies.

Sounds like a lot of fun and enjoyment. A bit like taking granparents where you can see in their faces they have enjoyed it, even if they are a bit sore the next day (i know slightly different)
