I discovered this forum after googling "Labrador forums" and this was the first option available... my name is Shaun and I'm the proud owner of an 8 year old labrador named Henry. He is a chocolate labrador and is ageing gracefully with a few grey hairs under his chin and starting to get some also on his muzzle/whiskers so we are both growing old together as I recently turned 40 last year and hope we have many years ahead of us. I'm looking forward to being around on this forum and hopefully socialising with some other labrador owners and offering advice and reading up on everyone's experiences. If you happen to be from Melbourne and particularly the south-eastern suburbs be sure to get in touch with me as it would be wonderful to meet up with other labrador owners in the area. Regards, Shaun (Sticks1977)
Thanks for the welcome Karen - all the way over in Germany? Still amazes me how powerful and far-reaching the internet can be and is able to bring people closer together from all corners of the globe - Henry says hello to Poppy and Merlin
Hello and welcome from me any my three Labs, Willow (black girl, 3.5 years), Shadow (yellow boy, 3.5 years) and Luna (choccy girl, 16 months). We're currently in Andorra, where we live in a ski resort for the winters. We then head to Spain for the summer months. We have an ever-increasing membership from Oz; we often exchange quizzical looks over the differences in language
Welcome Shaun and Henry from me and Xena across the ditch in Wellington. There must be something in the water, there's been an influx of Aussies since the beginning of 2018!
Hi and welcome to the forum from the Beanwood gang of four. I currently have TWO chocolates, well one being a foster hanging out with us . We are based in the South West of the UK
Hi from me and Ella, also in Melbourne! I think that makes three of us now with @Master Bowie up Eltham way and me in the east (Blackburn-ish)
Great to know a few here are from Australia and especially Victoria. I'm located in Hallam (south-eastern area of Melbourne), would be happy to meet up with fellow lab owners!
Hi Shaun and Henry, welcome from me and Cassis, my sparkly eyed, extroverted best mate, She's 22 months and we are in the UK in the very rural and quite isolated Welsh Borders. I'm feeling quite excited about an Aussie Forum meet up!
Hi from a fellow Aussie!! Maxx and his Dad and I live in the Southern suburbs of Sydney. Our boy is 17 weeks old and a big handful, but we adore him. Henry looks so cute and what a great name. 40? Pfffft....we are both 52 years young and Maxx is keeping us even younger! You are as young as your dog makes your feel - ha ha Isn't it great to meet so many lab-lovers from around the world? I enjoy looking at pics in the 'My Walks' thread (off topic) where those in the UK, Europe and USA are often walking their dogs in the snow in the gorgeous wilderness when we are sweating it out in our Summer. Bring on Autumn....it will be much nicer to go on long walks with Maxx then. Enjoy the forum
