Helo has anyone used the gencon all in one head collar/lead?

It looks to be a very useful product and gentle in its correction of puling and lunging. However as far as I can see it can only be used with the dog in a direct heel position on the walkers left hand side. This seems to be a problem as it is useful to switch the dog to the right hand side away from the traffic. I also like to put the dog behind or in front on narrow paths.

    Any thoughts?

Head collars seem to be a thing of the past! However, years ago I found the Gencon to be the best of all the head collars. I can't remember if I did the things you want, I cannot think of any reason why you couldn't put your dog behind or in front on narrow paths as long as the lead is not tight.

Ok what is the now and the future? :) I have tried the Halti and the dogmatic but she still has a constant pull and occasional lunge. Poor Pip is a bit over reactive.
The gencon has the head collar 'pulling' point by the dogs right ear so you cannot as far as I see have the dog any where but on your left hand side. Perhaps I am overthinking this.

I suppose if you are only having your dog briefly on your right side you could put the lead under your dogs head and don't have any tension on it. The latest thing are harnesses :) I have never used on and don't really like them.
