Took Lilly to obedience today. Few weeks break due to our holiday.
Usually Sophie does her and I watch but she was working today.
Really good with her sit stays at a distance.
Managed a down stop halfway back during individual recall.
Then did a recall with another lady opposite me who was handling 2 dogs. Idea is the dogs cross each other on the recall a bit like the flyball clip. In a sit stay maybe at 15m distance., Lilly recalled perfectly despite the other dogs having a bit of a wander and being potential distractions.
    Phew.
    Feeling smug. Small steps......

Well done Jac and Lilly , sounds just great ;D
The Stay is Sams downfall , he sits immediately and stays for a short time but then comes bounding after me ::)

He loves his mum too much ;D
Lilly usually takes a loose dog as an opportunity for playtime ::)

    Thanks

good good girl Lilly!! it is small steps isnt it...
ive managed to train brodick out of shrieking in frustration when not allowed to chase Quacking Ducks over past three weeks.will now sit quietly while being told ah ah....a small but very significant for him step lowering his frenzy levels on his way to learning not to Chase. we must celebrate them all! ive just told him about Lilly not wildlife chasing and he is looking solemly at me. mine just had lovely well behaved early walk too, fed, and curled up next to me on sofa...happy times huh....
