I'm not sure ... this will be her 3rd visit, once with the Breeder and the litter and then when we first got her at 9 weeks. I think I had read it was either 3 or 4 rounds depending on where you live. It will be nice to have all this behind us! She has more than doubled in size, I swear! She was 12 pounds with the Breeder at her first visit and 18.2 pounds when I brought her at a little over 9 weeks. I weighed her last week like I weigh our suitcases when we travel and figured she was about 22.5 pounds. Vet had 'guessed' last time that she'd be 25 pounds at next visit ... we'll see how close he was!
Aw, she is gorgeous. We were going to go for a black girl but then when Juno's litter was born and we had first choice of the girls we aid "Chocolate!" still don't know why we changed our minds but Juno is everything we wished for in a puppy and companion
Thank you all! Well she did very well at the Vet ... she's healthy and doing just fine! She weighed in at 25 pounds!! The Vet had predicted that last time! Might be going to be a big girl! She has had her 3rd round of shots and can now at least go for walks in the neighborhood where we are fairly sure most dogs have had shots ... no dog parks or things like Petco etc., which is fine because I wouldn't do that anyway! As far as the neighbor's dog goes .... limited contact is fine, but nothing prolonged until after the next visit in 3 weeks ... which again is fine. At least I won't have to panic anymore if she happens to slip out the side door where he comes around! For the most part she's in the fenced in back yard. She's got the all clear on traveling with us to FL to visit our daughter and her fur cousins in their new home too, go to the beach, etc. So, all is well! Got her a new collar, leash and toy today after I brought her home and went out again which she seems to like, but is taking a well deserved rest after the busy weekend and this morning!
Thank you! I might just be a 'tad' prejudice ... but I think so too! She really is a pretty little girl!
