Good morning, just saying hello and introducing myself. I lost my beautiful 8 year old golden lab to complications caused by diabetes just before Xmas 2021, to say I was and still am totally devastated would be an understatement. Perhaps rather foolishly I went out and bought an 8 week old lab' puppy at the end of January this year in the hope he might help heal some of the heartache I am still going through from loosing my boy. Don't get me wrong I love this pup too but he's proving to be quite a problem"child", the total opposite of my other one. He's now 10 weeks old and I'm feeling a bit out of my depth with him and have come here in the hope I may be able to pick some tips up from you. Thank you for listening.
Hi there, welcome to the forum It can be tough going back to the puppy days, when you've spent so long enjoying the relatively easy routine of an adult dog. I'm sure that the grief for your old Lab being so recent and so raw will also contribute to that. The puppies area on our main site has lots of articles and resources which might help you. Good luck - he won't stay a puppy forever
