After a week of having my SIL visiting her new niece and subsequently her puppy in law she sat down with me tonight and said, " I learned a lot about dogs this week". I'm by no means on most of your level of training and knowledge but of what I have learned has finally sank though. She addmited that she had no idea dogs were so easlisy swayed. she said she just wanted to hug my dog every time he was good and let him out every time he barked ( after she thought him to bark ) and so on. You all know what I mean. She realized that we create the negative behaviour and that because we love our pets we train them and give structure to their ultimate happiness rather than give in to their every whim making them safer and better companions. Another victory for team +R. It works.
