It feels like the tide of teeth and trouble is finally turning a little. Alfie will be 13 weeks tomorrow and he is turning into a lovely little boy. Of course he is still full of mischief and so inquisitive, trying to eat everything and get into places he shouldn't, but there has been a dramatic drop in his mouthing and biting. He only has flare ups of it maximum once or twice a day, and usually a quick sit will calm him down. It's such a huge difference! Of course it's not a miracle turn around, and he is still my troublesome little Alfiegator, but gosh it is nice to have some proof that we're working well with him! Sit and recall are going well also, and he can finally start going for walks next Thursday! Which is so exciting, I can't wait! He does seem to have a sensitive tum, so we're working with the vet on that, but he's so happy and full of beans all the time! Due to his love of the watering can, we decided to get him a fountain/waterfall style dog drinker, and he seems to love that as well! It's a nice bit of fun! And also we got some puppy safe antlers for him? As a step away from even considering raw hide. I think he has more toys than he could ever want as well, he certainly enjoys them! Including an agility tunnel, which he adores dashing through at top speed in the garden. Sleeping in his crate is going really well and all in all things seem to be going good at the moment! Thanks to everyone for their help and advice with everything so far, this place is such a blessing to a worried new puppy mum! I swear I would have worried so much more without this place to help ground the new mum fears! Thought I would add a few pictures of him as he grows. Over 10cm taller now! And a good lump of KG heavier! People keep telling me he has such big feet, and such large ears as well.
Re: Good times with Alfie! And some Pictures to show it! What a cutie. Glad things are going well for you. It does take time and can be very worrying. Love the last pic in the bed. Very cute.
