Goodbye Danny Dog

My friends 7 year old Romainian lab dog had to be PTS this weekend due to Renal failure. He had a terrible time in the labs having both his back legs broken to see how they healed and things? put in his ears. In the 10 months he lived in our Dog community he went from a withdrawn aggresive dog to happy dog who loved chasing squirrels and playing with his friends.

He was only around for a while but we all loved him. We all helped as much as we could and all spoiled him

Goodbye you lovely boy, it was such a short time and you will be missed

 

RIP Danny. I'm glad you found happiness in your life.

 

Yep he had 10 months of a dogs life, a real dogs life

 

It's unthinkable what some people will do to animals in the name of research. There must be a better way ;(

 

There usual is but dogs are cheap....it doesn't matter that they are living breathing loving creatures

 

Goodbye Danny. So sad to hear the start of his story but it's heart-warming tjat he got to know a good life before the end xx

So sad and sorry to read what a terrible life poor Danny had before your friends had him. There was a mention on another topic about labarotory dogs. At least the dear boy had some time of love and happiness.

 

So sorry ... It's good to hear that Danny was able to enjoy his last ten months.

 

How terrible for poor Danny - but so good that he knew joy and love for the last months of his life.

 

I'm so very sorry. Thank heavens he did enjoy a small piece of life as a loved dogs, as all dogs should. Bless your friend, it must not have been easy to give him that life.

 

Run free Danny dog I'm so very sorry for your friends loss, you too as you were so fond of him. I like to think he enjoyed love, warmth and companionship for a short while which is better than never experiencing it at all. xx

 

Oh Danny boy, your life story has reduced me to tears. I'm so very grateful that you found a loving home and got to experience what a dogs life should be like, loved, wanted, adored and fun. Thank you @sdegg and your community for being part of Danny's happy days. Oh my heart is breaking and I never even knew him, I can't begin to imagine how his loving humans are coping
